Please read about the important changes we will be making:
Dear Patients,
Following the announcement by the government on 28th May, we are incredibly pleased and excited to announce that we will be re-opening TruSmile Dental Practice from Monday 8th June 2020! Please note that we will not be allowed to perform aerosol generating treatments yet this means we are not allowed to drill or clean teeth with ultrasonic equipment.
We apologise that We have had to cancel numerous appointments since the lockdown began 3 months ago and will initially be prioritising appointments for our existing patients who have had dental emergencies or appointments cancelled, in order of urgency. Please do not attend the clinic unless you have an appointment.
Please read about the latest Covid-19 changes below.
We thank you all for your patience during this difficult time and look forward to seeing you all again very soon.
We will be in touch as soon as we ready to see you.
Kind Regards,
Team Trusmile
At TruSmile Dental Practice the most important thing is patient safety and comfort, and that is why we have spent the time of closure upgrading the clinic and introducing the following measures to keep our patients and staff SAFER than ever. You are also required to bring a completed medical history form when attending your appointment.
The clinic as you are aware was always a very clean and safe environment. However, we have made some changes by placing hand sanitisers at entry points, have upgraded our PPE and re-designed the patient journey in line with social distancing rules.
We will also be creating special clinics for patients who are most vulnerable, to help minimize contact with others for this group whilst they are at our practice.
Between all appointments as always, the dental team will thoroughly disinfect the dental surgery, reducing the risk of exposure to anything harmful while you are in our dental chair.
We will be conducting pre-screening tests of patients which is likely to involve taking a measurement of your temperature on arrival and asking if you have any Covid-19 symptoms.
Please attend the practice alone if you can, and do not bring any Excess bags for coats or belongings with you. Please use the restroom at home before you visit the practice.
To further avoid overcrowding when you arrive at the practice, we ask that you wait in your car or in a safe place outside of the practice until called in. We will notify you via your phone, to let you know when to enter the practice.
You will be required to complete all relevant forms on your electronic device before you enter the practice from the comfort of your home. This means that you will not have to touch pen, paper, or any electronic device other than your own when attending your appointment. Please bring your own pen if you wish to complete the forms on paper.
We will ask, that you pay using a contactless card payment method. This is a crucial step and greatly reduces shared touch points at our practice.
All appointments will be booked to ensure, the Practice and waiting areas are not overcrowded. We will achieve this by leaving suitable gaps between appointments, making sure that you can comfortably attend the practice while maintaining a suitable social distance from one another in accordance with government guidelines.
We thank you all for your patience during this difficult time and look forward to seeing you again soon!
We will be in touch as soon as we ready to see you.
