Myself and my family all go here. I am so happy with the care and treatment given here. So polite friendly and helpful. Great dentist highly recommend.

Regular dental hygiene treatment is essential to keeping your gums and teeth healthy. With more teeth being lost to gum disease, regular visits to a hygienist combined with regular dental check-ups can greatly increase your chances of keeping your teeth for a lifetime.
Trusmile dental offers a wide range of hygienist services including scale and polish treatments, fluoride applications, cosmetic stain-removing and teeth brightening treatments.
Our hygienists provide a professional teeth cleaning service, a process called scaling and polishing. During the appointment your hygienist will carry out an initial dental hygiene examination.
Scaling your teeth removes any tartar and plaque that can’t be removed by brushing, followed with removal of any superficial staining on the teeth and tailored advice on how to maintain your teeth at home for a longer lasting bright smile.
Your hygienist will also provide advice about dietary recommendations to hold back tooth decay at bay for longer. During this process we will also check your gum health and look for any signs of gum disease.
Gum disease can come in the many forms including Gingivitis (swelling of the gums) and Periodontitis (advanced swelling of the gums progressed to ligaments around the teeth). It can have damaging effects on both your oral health, and also affect the general health of your body.
Depending on the patient, we may recommend frequent visits to the hygienist. The frequency of visits will be determined by your clinical needs and your own personal desire.
You may also be recommended that you see a hygienist for a thorough clean before beginning a complex dental treatment such as dental implants.

Regular visits to a your hygienist will ensure that hidden and difficult-to-reach plaque and tartar is removed from your teeth, that can’t be otherwise removed with regular brushing.
